Sitting in a room stripped from light
Emotions, far from sight
Fading memories buzzing around,
A place where loneliness is so profound.

Empty room with plain dull walls.
Beyond the mirage, something calls.
All in the mind! Wall is an illusion
Body and soul crying for fusion.

Body in the room as time just flows.
How much further? No one knows.
Soulless body sitting in this hive.
No joy of color, taste, smell to feel alive!

The soul is made of joyful memories
The Heart yearns for such stories.
Far and beyond into the sky
Away and afar the memories fly.

Dreams of paradise filled with fun.
Dancing under the bright warm sun.
Waves pounding on the silent shores
Ecstatic life like in ancient lores.

Memories seep in through those dreams.
Nostalgic tears in two streams.
As time goes on things fade away
Sitting in this room,with nothing to say

Empty times with these horrid walls
Slowly and surely my life stalls.
Piece by piece the memories break
Soon be left with nothing to take.

Desperate steps to stay alive and sane
Everyone in their own fast lane
With nothing to live and no way to die
All I do is stay here and lie

I, sleep and dream and rise and walk
Lonely steps with no one to talk
Dreams or real, there is no way to tell
Nightmares turning into living hell.

Break free now! for this illusion is a wall
Answering to the heart's desperate call
It doesn't matter how you fare,
Till you have something to care.

Your life is always for your gain
Feeling alive by the pain.
Pricking thorns en route to your goal
